Yes, personally I like to think that coworking is global and shared worldwide, that is the reason we enlist all coworkings in the world (the ones I know about), we have created the linkedin group and of course share news here on the community blog (thanks tara for hosting us). I also have phantasized of a coworking network, but I'm not sure that a strucutred cooperation would word (as I matter of fact I'm sure it wouldn't). I still think, though, that some sort of global participation will occur between coworking places, after all cw is all about sharing... all the best with your initiative in detroit, and don't forget to come and see us, on the web (http://www.coworkingmilano.com) or even better, in person, in Milano.
